More good news in regards to our proposed move to the Shell Rd Pavillon! Along with the OGFNC the OGCC have lobbied the Shell Rd Pavillion BOM about the use of the KITCHEN for the sporting clubs. The outcome for the sporting clubs is very positive; whereby use of the KITCHEN will be allowed on certain days/nights by the clubs. This means that GB and his specialist team will be able to provide quality meals at family friendly prices as normal. At the AGM the members asked for clarity about the use of the BAR, KITCHEN and displaying of MEMORABILIA. All these issues have now been addressed! We have full use of BAR with all profits remaining with us, the OGCC. We will have use of the KITCHEN at times and days agreed to between myself, GB, the BOM and Sarah who holds the lease for the KITCHEN. And between some concessions made on the displaying of MEMORABILIA around the BAR and some new and innovative ideas, I believe we have provide the OGCC members the answers they were seeking. I urge all members of the OGCC to attend Sunday’s vote. The meeting will commence at 12 noon with a short period in which to ask questions. This period will not become a debate. All information has been provided to members and if you have any questions between now and Sunday please feel free to contact me. After the vote the BAR will be open for refreshments.
